Inner Demons "you're not alone" 

Inner Demons are an expression of the mysterious power held in the human emotions we all know. Emotions can be an anomaly, strange and complex. There are many mixtures of feelings that can slowly or suddenly captivate someone completely whether they recognize it or not; Like a demonic possession, someone can be completely overtaken by powerful emotions like they are a whole different person. 

Inner Demons will take control if they are left unchecked. They are always under the surface whether or not they are visible from the outside. It's these powerful unseen forces that can turn normal people into monsters overnight if they aren’t understood and controlled. If we suppress our Inner Demons and try to hide them, we lose sense of emotion, which closes off and isolates us from the rest of the world. Or bottled up emotions may explode out at any time in a toxic eruption

But Inner Demons aren’t all bad. our feelings are what make us human, they're what make us ourselves. Just as humans aren’t innately evil, neither are their inner demons. They can be good or bad, they aren't solely one or the other, and they are constantly changing.

Now more than ever the world needs unification. Love and peace are the ultimate goals, but part of the healing process to bring humanity together is recognizing and normalizing the reality and impact of human emotions to save people from themselves by focusing on better working with mental health and emotional well being.

I've been evolving the Inner Demons project since 2016 when I started it. You could also say that I've been exploring the concept since my own conception. It has taken me a long time to find the right words to clearly articulate my art to the world. I originally wanted to leave everything spoken for on its own to allow all viewers to derive their own meaning, without my words to skew perception of my work. But to avoid misconceptions and assumptions of its meaning, I felt it pertinent to add my thoughts to help at least guide those willing to dive deeper past the paint to see the real message. 

Every day is a new opportunity to live life well and treat others how you would like to be treated
